About Maya

I am only available on weekends :) I possess a wealth of experience in caring for children across a diverse age range, from 1 to 17 years old. My approach is centered on ensuring each child's comfort and engagement & leveraging my creativity in devising fun and educational activities. I have a passion for exploring a child's interests and hobbies, reading books, and most importantly, building strong, positive relationships. My goal is to offer parents peace of mind, knowing their little ones are safe and happy in the hands of a reliable and caring babysitter. I have a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MS in Education from Johns Hopkins. I'm in my 3rd year of completing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute. I'm committed to enhancing kids' social and academic skills and instilling a love for learning, fun and kindness. I am CPR and first aid certified, am comfy with pets, have a car, am fluent in Spanish and can cook.
