About Maya

Hello! My name is Maya, I'm new to the area. I graduated from Warren Wilson College in May and spent the summer farming in Vermont before moving to GA. I have worked with kids on and off since I was 10 and am now 24. I love working with people of all ages. Being able to work with people is a gift and care giving any age is always a change to learn and grow alongside other people. I graduated with a BA in Social Work with a double minor in Art and Art Therapy. I'm hoping to get my masters and focus in clinical social work becoming a therapist and working with children who have faced trauma and/or have behavioral or intellectual learning disabilities. I have been interested in learning American Sign Language for many years and have some basic signing ability. If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask!
