About Maya

Hi families! My name is Maya, and I am an upcoming first-year elementary school teacher with a passion for working with children and helping them grow, learn, and thrive. Over the years, I've gained experience working with children in a variety of settings including afterschool programs, summer camps, classrooms, and babysitting. These experiences have helped me build strong skills in creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments for children of all ages. I am CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, patient, and love finding fun and creative ways to keep children engaged while supporting their development. Whether it's helping with homework, planning activities, or simply being a caring and positive presence, I truly enjoy building connections with both children and families. I look forward to supporting families and being a part of children's growth and everyday successes!
