About Maya

I started babysitting in high school and continued on throughout college where I worked as a care partner in the PCICU at VUMC Children's aiding in the care of neonates, infants, and toddlers who were critically-ill due to congenital heart disease. In May of 2025 I graduated with my nursing degree and became a licensed nurse in June of 2025. I have started pursuing my Doctorate of Nursing with a particular career interest in pediatric primary care. I have specific experience caring for children with medical complexities, infants, and children under the age of 5yrs old. I am looking for families who might need a caregiver who understands medically complex children or needs night time support but I am willing and happy to care for children or families outside of this area! I love sports and actually play professional softball for the AUSL which is why I stepped away from bedside nursing and am looking for part time roles while finishing my doctor education!
