About Maya

Hi, my name is Maya and I have been working with children for 7 years now. I am currently a student at Oregon State University studying Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. I have been babysitting and nannying for a long time now and have experience working with children ages 0-13. I have worked with children who have special needs in the past and hope to pursue that field of work in my future career as well! Other than babysitting I have taught swim lessons and coached for a swim team for five years now and worked one year as a preschool teacher. I am trained in CPR and first aid for professional rescuers and go through consistent training and practice of these skills for my lifeguarding job. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside whether I'm hiking, camping, swimming, or anything else out in nature with close friends! I also love art and cooking! I love working with kids and hope I can be a good fit for your childcare needs!!
