About Maya

Hi! I'm a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for working with children and supporting families. As the oldest of three siblings and one of the oldest in a large family of cousins, caring for little ones has always come naturally to me! My nursing education has given me a strong foundation in child development, health, and safety, along with the ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive in any situation. I have experience caring for children of different ages and understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they feel comfortable and supported. I'm dependable, organized, and energetic, and I love finding creative ways to keep kids entertained, whether that's spending time outdoors, doing crafts, reading, or exploring new activities. I value building meaningful relationships with children and families, and providing parents with peace of mind. I have two cats, so pets are welcome!
