About Maya

Hi there! My name is Maya and I am originally from Austin, though I'm a student at the University of Oregon in Eugene! I have always loved spending time around kids, fueling creativity and learning! My passion for early development comes from my experience volunteering in my mom's bilingual Pre-K classroom, ultimately leading to my years of experience as a babysitter and nanny. As an energetic and flexible caregiver, I love crafting, spending time outdoors, and playing any games, especially ones that encourage curiosity. I am looking for a part-time position and am most comfortable caring for up to two kids, ages 3-10, and am happy to provide light housekeeping and meal prep for the kids! As a native speaker I am also happy to be speaking in Spanish! As an Architecture student I love to spend my spare time in any creative way, typically drawing, and listening to/ playing music! I hope to encourage similar activities with your kids and I look forward to getting to know your family!
