About Maya

I love getting to know each unique family and watch as they grow and evolve, it is very rewarding. I have worked with children taking care of my own families littles, working with seasonal summer day camps (including specialty camps such as the OCC's school of sailing), volunteering in elementary school classrooms, and four years of professional nannying. I have worked with ages 0 - 12 years with the most experience with ages 2 months - 8 years. I am Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certified (pediatric and adult), have a valid ServSafe managers certification (including my Allergens certification), and the Red Cross babysitters certificate. I am happy to provide certification numbers and references on request. I am also more than willing to assist with kitchen upkeep, basic cleaning, meal preparation/planning, and laundry. I encourage kiddos to help with food preparation (specific tasks varying by age) to help lay the groundwork for healthy food habits as adult
