About Maya

Hello! I am Maya, I'm 21 years old. I am studying psychology with a focus on education and child psychology. I work at my local elementary school during the school year as a tutor/teaching assistant in a 2nd grade classroom. I teach math, but have prior experience in a 4th grade classroom teaching math and english! I have been babysitting kids ages 4 months-13 years since I was 15 every summer. After getting my bachelors in psychology I am hoping to become a social worker who works primarily in elementary schools or in foster care! I am very passionate about childhood development and helping kids develop a passion for being outside, playing, and learning. I am more than happy to help with any kind of homework and am also just as happy to just play all day! I'm great at helping around the house and keeping areas clean and tidy, I also love to cook!
