About Maya

Hi There! I'm Maya, 20, and I attend Elon University. I study Political Science for my pre-law track. I have 4-5 years of paid babysitting experience with 3 kids at a time, and 12 years of babysitting experience from babysitting my little brother! I've worked in restaurants for 6 years and manager of a local ice cream shop for 2 years. I love nannying and the creativity of children. I have tons of energy to keep up with the toddlers and their imaginations, and "magical, baby-rocking arms" that can put just about any crying baby to sleep! I have a personality that allows me to quickly bond with and understand the individuality of each child. I am very active and love being outside in the sun. I have a blast planning activities for kids I nanny for and keeping them having fun! I like working with kids because the imagination and creativity of children is inspirational and I tend to easily bond with them. Caring for kids comes naturally.
