Hey! My name is Maya, I am a 4th grade teacher at Morehead Elementary School. I have been working in childcare for over 10 years. In high school I babysat, worked in a childcare center, and lifeguarded. Through college I worked in an infant room and taught swim lessons to children ages 3-13. After I graduated I taught 3rd grade, Pre-K, and now ended up in 4th grade (my favorite!) In my free time I love to read, walk my pups on the beach, and travel back home to Arizona to visit family and friends. I have lived in NC for about 2 years now, and I have loved every minute of it!
