There is truly nothing like working with individuals with special needs. People always ask me how I do what I do, and honestly it is one of the most rewarding and fun things I have ever been a part of. Working hands on with this population brings so much joy into my life. The laughs, the milestones, the personalities, and the moments of progress, even the hard days, remind me why I am so passionate about what I do. The truth is I learn from them just as much as they learn from me. They teach me patience, resilience, and communication in ways words cannot explain, and they remind me to appreciate the little things that most people overlook. I love building trust, helping people grow, celebrating every win big or small, and being part of a team that helps individuals feel safe, valued, and capable. The joy they bring is unmatched, and I feel blessed to do this kind of work.
