About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya, and caring for others has always been a natural part of who I am. Growing up as the oldest of five younger siblings in a single-parent household, I learned from an early age what it means to be dependable, patient, and nurturing. I have over two years of private senior caregiving experience, providing compassionate one-on-one support for an elderly client with complex medical needs. I have assisted with daily living activities, medication reminders, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, transportation, and communicating with family members and healthcare providers. My goal is always to help my clients maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life while making them feel safe, respected, and cared for. In addition to caregiving, I have eight years of customer service and management experience. I treat every person I care for like family and believe the best caregiving comes from kindness, patience, reliability, and genuine compassion.
