About Maya

Hi! I am a teacher in Wicomico County looking for occasional work in the summer months. I am CPR certified, fully vaccinated, including COVID 19. I graduated from Salisbury University with my degree in English Secondary Education, am pursuing a masters in Instruction Design & Technology, & am currently teaching high school English in Wicomico County. Aside from children, I love working with the elderly and spent time working in a retirement community which I loved. Due to a move, I had to leave that job, but would love to get back into working with the elderly or others with specific needs. I am very active, enjoy cooking and cleaning, and would love to be able to provide someone with support and companionship. I have reliable transportation (and am happy to assist with transportation and running other errands. I pride myself in being punctual and organized, and hope to use these skills to benefit another person's life.
