About MAYA

Empowering students to think critically and solve complex problems is the foundation of my teaching approach. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math and Science for students ranging from elementary school through college. I prioritize your unique learning style by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the material to your personal interests to keep you motivated. I believe open communication is essential to building the trust necessary for your academic growth. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am dedicated to helping you build the confidence you need to master new skills. Whether we meet online or in person, I look forward to supporting your journey toward long-term success.
