About MAYA
Experience: 1 yr
I'm a PhD student in Biomedical Science, and I've always enjoyed helping students understand subjects that might feel difficult or overwhelming at first. I have about three years of tutoring experience and worked with students from elementary school and college, particularly in math and science. I try to make tutoring relaxed and personalized to each student. If something isn't making sense, I'm happy to slow down, explain it in a different way, and work through it together until it clicks!
