Hi, I began working as nurse assistant for three nursing homes for almost 4 years. After that, I decided to work in non-assisting jobs for 3 years. I was given the opportunity to work as a self employed caregiver for 4 different clients with diagnoses such as: dementia/ Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, paralysis, and multiple sclerosis for almost 7 years. My clients eventually deceased and I went onto working as self employed housekeeper for a few families for 4 to 5 years. Covid-19 caused a negative impact and was left without clients. There was a great need for caregiver's during the pandemic and started working as caregiver for the physically and intellectually challenged population for almost 4 years in 4 different group homes. At the same time, I was part-time employed by couple hospice and palliative agencies. During this time, I also decided to go back to vocational school and completed the nurse assistant course; eventually becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant.
