About Max

Hello! My name is Max and I'm a senior at the University of Chicago. I'm majoring in economics and linguistics, and I'm taking courses in a wide variety of interesting fields. I'm also interested in international studies: I studied French and philosophy in Paris last year, and in 2018 I studied public policy in Beijing. I also speak French, Mandarin, Spanish, and Hebrew, with varying levels. I have six years of tutoring experience, and have taught students aged 5-17. I'm passionate about helping other people learn, and I make tutoring comfortable, enjoyable, and productive experience. I have worked a lot with students who learn differently and am good at helping them understand things in different ways, stay on track, and develop an interest in what they learn.
