About Maxine

Maxine has been an incredible caregiver for my mother, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the care she provides. She is kind, patient, dependable, and genuinely invested in my mom’s well-being. My mother has Parkinson’s and dementia, along with mobility and fall-risk concerns, so her care requires someone who is attentive, patient, and able to recognize when something isn’t quite right. Maxine has handled everything from medication management and meal preparation to mobility assistance, personal care, appointments, household tasks, and companionship. She is extremely organized and proactive, and I have always been able to trust that my mom is safe and well cared for when she is with her. What stands out most to me, though, is the relationship Maxine has built with my mother. She doesn’t treat caregiving like a checklist of tasks. She takes the time to sit with her, talk with her, make her laugh, watch her favorite shows with her, and make sure she feels heard and cared for. She has learned my mom’s routines, preferences, and needs and pays attention to the little things that make her comfortable. Maxine is also a wonderful communicator. She keeps me informed, brings concerns to my attention, and takes initiative when something needs to be handled. She is someone I can rely on, which has given me tremendous peace of mind. I would wholeheartedly recommend Maxine to any family looking for a caregiver who is compassionate, capable, trustworthy, and truly cares about the person she is supporting. She has been an invaluable part of my mother’s care.
