About Maurie

Hi, I'm Maurie! I graduated in 2022 from Tarleton State University, where I got my Bachelors in Childhood and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Life, and a minor in child psychology. My dream is to be a Child Life Specialist with an extra certification in Infant and Toddler Development. I have 7 years of experience being a part-time and full-time nanny for children ages 3mo/16yr. I also have experience with many developmental needs. In college I volunteered with the Child Life department at McLane Children's Hospital, I did an internship with a Children's Advocacy Center, and I recently finished a Child Life practicum at Children's Medical Center Dallas. I love working with, teaching, and helping take care of children of all ages!
