Hello! I'm Mauren, I want to tell you about my meaningful experiences. I'm effective and understanding with children. Back in Colombia I was a languages teacher in preschool and elementary school for 3 years, I was also responsible for all care and reports for my home group of students. I consider myself to be a patient person and of course, very responsible. I majored in Education and Languages (English, French and Spanish as a second language) and also I was a Rollerblade coach for kids between the ages 4-12 years old. Everyday is meaningful to me, because the kids and myself learn a lot of things through the games, music, crafts, dancing and Spanish! During all this time, I conclude that I'm not only a teacher but I'm like a mom, friend, tutor, classmate, and adviser. I am friendly, caring person, knowledgeable about child development and needs, responsible motivated, honest, and very organized.

She is great with kids, my son loves her! Very responsible, caring and trusting. She proved being punctual and dependable. We love that she speaks Spanish as well. The next family to work with she will be very lucky!!! 

You will be hard-pressed to find a better candidate for employment.  Although we only had the opportunity of utilizing Mauren's services for a short period of time, she has become part of our family.  She began watching our son at the age of 2, and has been a staple at our house ever since, working Monday through Thursday close to 40 hours a week.  Of Mauren's strengths-and there are many- her greatest is her dependability along with her professionalism and genuine care for our son.  She truly treats him as if he was her own and shares such a special bond with him.  Mauren has done so much more than merely supervise him.  We deeply regret that we are losing her as our caregiver, but we are starting him in school full time effective October.  She is irreplaceable! I highly recommend Mauren for the position to which she has applied.  I know that your children would love her as much as our family/son has and that you would never be disappointed in her services.

Mauren was like part of the family, caring and very easy going.  You feel the positive vibe as soon as you meet her and will feel comfortable having her in your home. 

There is nothing harder than having to leave your children while you go to work every day. Mauren makes this process a lot easier with her dependability, and general warmth and love towards my children. Caring for children is not a side or interim job for Mauren, she loves what she does and the children love her. I never had to worry about Mauren showing up for work or being on time, she is a constant professional.  The saddest part of our move is having to say goodbye to Mauren. 

Mauren has been put babysitter for the last couple summers. During this time, she has proved to be a responsible, punctual, dependable, hard-working and dedicated caregiver. We feel so lucky to have found her! First of all, we love that she speaks Spanish with our kids: their spanish has improved tremendously thanks to Mauren. She is also creative and has led our kids in hands-on artistic activities. Another HUGE plus for Mauren is that she is always  willing to feed our kids homemade food. I can leave a recipe for her and she'll make it or she'll prepare one of her amazing Colombian specialties - yummy!!! In her care, I know my children are well fed and well cared for. She is careful in terms of insuring the kid's safety and I trust her to drive the children to and from activities. I would definitely recommend Mauren and would be happy to give more feedback if needed.

Mauren has worked for me taking care of my 1 yr old and 10 yr old for a little over a year. From the moment I spoke with her and her previous bosses I knew she would be the perfect fit for our family. She is confident, loving, punctual and everything you would want for your child's nanny. She takes care of my children and all their needs while I'm away at work and she's always there for me when I need her. Mauren has been a blessing to my family and I hope she finds a great family to work for. Any family would be lucky to have her! 

Maureen is a great babysitter. I have four young children and she is great with each of them. Together, they can be a handful, but not a problem for Maureen to handle. With Maureen, they are always excited to see her. They love when she comes. She has even brought her own crafts for them to do. Moreover, Maureen is always punctual and kind.

It is very easy for me to write a reference letter for Mauren.  Mauren has become my "oldest daughter" over the last 4 years she has lived with us. She is not only amazing with my children, but she is an amazing person as well.  I know she has loved and cared for my 2 children: ages 4 and 2 years, as if they were her own.  Mauren has allowed me to continue working full-time, by allowing me never worry about the kids, to trust her, to know she puts them first, I see how she makes good decisions and is very responsible.  Her parents should be very proud of the daughter they have raised because she is a very responsible, loving person and has been a great role model for my children.  She has also taught us a lot about her culture and has been speaking Spanish to my kids, since they were born.  I am amazed, however, at how well she speaks English. I have to say her English sometimes is better than mine and we have never had any trouble communicating. Well, I could go on and on about how wonderful she is and I know whatever family she chooses, they are very lucky to have her and I will greatly miss her.

Mauren is an exceptional child caregiver.  She worked for us for several months, caring for our twin boys.  She did several activities with them during the day as well as prepared their breakfast and lunch.  She was always prompt and very loving.  During the time that she was with us, she would take the boys for walks and to the park.  She made sure to keep us informed during the day of their well being.  She speaks Spanish too, and we asked her to speak it to our boys, as we, too, speak Spanish in our home.  She bonds very easily with children and is genuinely caring and very attentive to the children's needs.  You can't go wrong hiring Mauren as the caregiver for your child(ren).
