About Maureen

Hello, My name is Maureen. I have over 20 years of extensive experience in caring for older adults. I was raised in a loving, wonderful, and caring family. I learned first hand what it means to be an exceptional caregiver after taking care of my grandparents. I have worked in Assisted Living facilities, for agencies and for private families. I am C. N. A. trained and C. P. R. certified. I have additional training through Hope Network Rehabilitation Service. My experience includes proper transfer techniques, including the Hoyer lift (both manual and electric), sliding boards, and a gait belt. My years of experience include caring for older adults with dementia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, diabetes, incontinence issues, catheter and bag usage, proper commode transfers, wound care, med-box set up, dispensing and documentation of medications, giving insulin, monitoring vitals, oxygen tank and equipment experience, and assistance with personal grooming. I truly love what I do.
