My very first hands on in regard to child care was with a friend who had a premature baby that she has at 6 months and it weighed less than a kilo. Was with her helping out with the baby who was in NiCU for a month before we were discharged from hospital. Helped with kangaroo sessions feeding and and bathing. Sun bathing since after NICU we don't have machines to help with those special kids that develop jaundice while in machines in the nursery. It was an amazing experience as would gladly say I feel proud that our little girl by the time I relocated the little girl had made 3years under my care and help. Had a chance of also looking after the premature's sister from birth to almost 7months before I left. Then have two more boys I took care of for my sister from birth until one made 3 and the other 2years. Kids are fun to take of if you understand their niche.
