Maureen has been a Godsend since the day we hired her to help us take care of our mom. She formed a strong bond not only with our mom but with us as well and I consider her to be family.

She helped us care for mom by preparing meals, socializing with her and helping with bathing mom and changing her close. She also helped care for the house, cleaning and laundry.

In addition to that Maureen was always punctual and would fill in if we couldn't be there during her off time.

Maureen has been our Mother's care taker for the last three years. She surfed right along with us through the final waves of dementia. Some of those days weren't so easy. She cooked, cleaned, and mostly became a good friend to our mother. While she was still mobile, Maureen would take Mom on fieldtrips just to get her out of the house. She honored any wishes that were asked of her with regard to our mother's care. As the out of state daughter, she filled my shoes with the love and care that I could not achieve by being so far away. Maureen is part of our family now. The next family who finds her will be blessed with a kind, proffessional, and compassionate caregiver!

Maureen was always on time and provided great care  to my mother. She was a wonderful companion, talkative, friendly and had excellent communication with family during her shifts.

Maureen is a very genuine person who cares about others. This is evident in how she portrays herself on the job. She is hard-working and very dedicated to taking care of her clients' needs. I would recommend Maureen for a position without any reservations.

There are no words to describe how wonderful Maureen is!  She is loving, caring, responsible, and just an all around amazing person.  The only bad part is with the passing of my mother, we don't get to see Maureen on a daily basis!  It's truly bittersweet. There is no doubt if anyone needs this type of help, she will be the first recommendation I would give.

Maureen took care of my mother for over eight years until she passed away at the age of 86. My mother's care was ONE thing I didn't have to worry about with Maureen. She would take mom for outings, walks and had her in the kitchen helping to prepare light meals. Maureen even did some light housekeeping! Maureen asked for permission to bring her dog some days and mother so looked forward to those visits. There's no other way to say it, but Maureen became a friend to my mother. Mom got the chance to tell her all of the stories of her youth, marrying the love of her life and all of the cringe worthy stories of when my siblings and I were growing up. That kept my mother's mind nimble and she would get this huge smile when she remembered some story she wanted to tell her. And, boy, did those two laugh! If I am ever in the position of needing some kind of care/help, Maureen will be the first person I call.

If I am ever in the position of needing care, Maureen will be the FIRST person I call!

Maureen came into our home and treated our elderly mother like she was her own. She was always there for her, and earned our trust right away. She made our mom feel comfortable, loved, listened to. :Maureen treated our mother with respect and dignity. We could always depend on her no matter what. Dementia is not an easy disease, but being able to have a caregiver we could trust and who cared for our family like her own meant absolutely everything.

Maureen is very lively. She will carry on nice conversations and do a good job. She takes direction well and really cares about her clients.
