About Maureen

We’ve been incredibly lucky to have Maureen as our nanny since our son was six weeks old, in a nanny share that has truly felt like an extension of our family. The arrangement will come to an end on June 30th, 2025, because both families are leaving NYC. Maureen will be available to join a new family (or share) starting in early August. Maureen is warm, deeply experienced, and has provided not just excellent care, but the kind of support we didn’t know we needed. She helped our son get onto a consistent sleep schedule, introduced daily social outings that gave him a thriving little social life, brought so much thoughtfulness and structure to his day-to-day, and has helped reinforce his potty training. We credit her with many of his happiest early childhood experiences. The share setup worked beautifully for us, offering each child plenty of one-on-one attention from a trained professional, at a cost comparable to daycare but with fewer sick days. We can’t recommend her highly enough! Maureen worked with us from 9am to 6:00pm, with one Friday off a month, and she has always been flexible when schedules shifted. She’s also available for evening babysitting and has her own car (!!), which gives her extra flexibility with location. Maureen has many, many references available upon request, including one from our family.
