About Maureen

I recently had outpatient surgery in Charleston, SC, and was fortunate enough to find Maureen on Care.com to assist me during my recovery. From the moment she picked me up, I knew I was in excellent hands. Maureen was warm, professional, and immediately put me at ease with her kind demeanor and great conversation. She handled everything with incredible attention to detail. She got me settled into my hotel, organized my medications, and even wrote out a clear, easy-to-follow schedule of when to take each one — all neatly labeled with explanations of what each was for. She picked up ice packs and some delicious food, always checking to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. What really stood out was how confidently she took charge in making sure I followed the doctor’s post-op instructions. Her calm presence, compassion, and competence made all the difference during what could have been a stressful and vulnerable day. Maureen is truly worth her weight in diamonds and gold. If you are lucky enough to book her, know that you’ll be cared for with the highest level of kindness, organization, and professionalism. I can't recommend her highly enough!
