About Maura

I am a first grade teacher with an early childhood education degree, who also has experience in kindergarten. I have an understanding of Colorado state standards and would be able to help with kindergarten, first, or second grade prep in math and literacy. I am passionate about the science of reading and my students excel using this model. I like tutoring because it helps students feel more confident and sets them up for success in their upcoming school year I'm looking for a job that is part time, where parents are willing to work with me to help their child succeed. I have been teaching for 3 years. My skills include teaching the science of reading, preparing students to meet academic standards, working with families to support student needs.
