About Maura

I am a senior at Kennesaw State University studying Elementary Education, and I have gained hands-on experience working with students from Pre-K through 5th grade through my classroom placements. These experiences have helped me develop skills in creating engaging lessons, explaining concepts in different ways, and adapting instruction to meet each student's individual needs. I have worked with students in reading, writing, math, and other elementary subjects, and I especially enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. I believe learning should be fun, encouraging, and personalized to each child. My goal as a tutor is to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners.
