Hi there! My name is Maura and I'm a licensed teacher & graduate of the University of Delaware where I studied Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education. - Licensed to teach Elementary and Special Education in Delaware and Oregon! - Taught 6th grade math and science and a math intervention class for students scoring 2-3 grade levels below in an Oregon middle school for the last 3 years. - Babysitting experience (ages 2 months to 14 yrs) part time since I was 15. - Care. com experience: I worked for a lovely family in Oregon for ~3 years when not teaching! - I have a very reliable car available and a perfect driving record - and am willing to travel to help out! I'm easy-going, relaxed and love to play with kids. I feel that in order to build a trust and bond with the children you watch, you have to show them respect and interested in the activities they like to do!
