I have 6 years of experience with working with the elderly. I currently am an activity director at an assisted living where I direct physical and mental activities for residents with and without dementia. I was also a PCA in which I prepped meals, gave medications, helped with ADL's and maintained social interaction. I can keep an older individual active and entertained especially by focusing on their personal needs. I am currently an undergraduate at Assumption University with a major in human services and rehab studies. I am looking to further my experience with elder care while at school. I absolutely adore the elderly which is the population I intend to work with after I graduate.
