I'm creative, kind, and optimistic, and I love working with kids-there's nothing more important or rewarding. I've been a big sister and caregiver for as long as I can remember. Creating a safe space for a child's imagination and creativity to flourish is deeply important to me. I started babysitting at 13, caring for children from 3 months to 11 years old, and have worked with families in my church and community on both short- and long-term jobs. I value clear communication, fair pay, and honoring each family's unique parenting style and boundaries. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, yoga, painting, sewing, collecting vinyl, and caring for plants. My top childcare strengths are time management, redirection, and communication. I understand how crucial routine is, and I'm diligent about naps, meals, and bedtimes. I use redirection to engage kids in fun, appropriate alternatives and prioritize respectful, effective communication with children and parents alike.
