About Matthew

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a graduate degree and a year of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, English, and test preparation for learners ranging from elementary school to college. I believe every student thrives when provided with personalized support that prioritizes confidence over rote memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your unique style. When concepts feel difficult, I break them into manageable steps, celebrating every "aha!" moment as a victory. I maintain open communication with parents to ensure we are always working as a collaborative team. Whether we meet at your home, online, or a local library, I look forward to helping you discover that learning is truly an enjoyable journey.
