I began tutoring in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, working with students from 2nd through 6th grade across all subjects. My role went beyond homework help-I helped students stay organized, manage their workload, develop strong study habits, and complete assignments correctly and on time. I've also tutored students up through 10th-grade math, including Algebra and Geometry. I believe organization, time management, and effective study habits are just as important as understanding the material, and I strive to help students become confident, independent learners. I have a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering and am currently completing my MBA, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I'm also a full-time engineer at Pratt & Whitney. I'm available after 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and anytime on weekends. I'm flexible with location and can tutor online, at home, or at a library.

Matt has been tutoring my daughter in math for the last year. She is a sophomore in high school. Not only is he super knowledgeable about the various material but he worked great with her personality. Matt is always flexible with his schedule, punctual and friendly. He tolerates our moody dog as well. I look forward to working with him again next year!
