About Matthew

Making a difference in the lives of adults and seniors is my passion. For 10 years, I've provided compassionate care and reliable support to families. My experiences growing up around nurses who cared for my paralyzed grandfather and grandmother who could not see instilled in me a deep understanding of caregiving. I am a Certified Home Health Aid with CPR Training and First Aid Training. I provide respite care, live-in home care, transportation, and help with errands, shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medical management, and mobility assistance. I also have tools and don't mind fixing broken toilets, rehanging a screen door or organizing a cluttered room with the help of my patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I prioritize understanding each person's preferences and history. I also have experience de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion or agitation, and incorporating memory care activities. I always follow the family's preferred communication method.
