My mom was diagnosed with Dementia in 2008. She died in November 2017. My wife and I walked my mom's journey with her, there were good days and really tough days. My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2007, and he died in 2015. it's bittersweet actually, but at the same time it's fulfilling knowing I was able to help provide the best quality of life for my parents during their last days. I hope that I can bring comfort not only to the patient but also to the family as well. I'm very compassionate toward people and I hope I can help them in their time of need. People deserve to keep their dignity and should also be treated with utmost respect and care. I know I can help in just a small way to make sure that happens for the patient and also the family.
