For over 20 years, I have been helping students achieve their academic goals. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. As an experienced public educator, I believe that strong habits and appropriate goals are the foundation for academic success. I'm prepared to work with your student to find the best possible approach for learning. I assess individual learning styles by varying my teaching strategies and encouraging open communication. To keep students motivated, I break down complex problems into manageable steps. I also encourage curiosity and critical thinking through interactive discussions. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I have a college degree and I am CPR and First Aid certified.
