About Matthew

If I could give Matt our dog walker more than five stars I would. I found Matt on Care.com quite by accident and I am more than glad. We are so lucky to have Matt as our dog walker. There are many reasons which I want to highlight. 1. Matt is a true dog lover. He treats our little Benji as if he were part of his family 2. The first thing I noticed when I met Matt is his professional demeanor. He communicates with us and with Benji as well. That was very important to us. He picked up Benji’s personality immediately. 3. Matt is so punctual so can count the seconds when you know he’s walking up our steps. Benji knows it also. 4. Our Benji definitely has an internal clock because he goes to the door to wait for Matt 10 minutes before he gets there. And when Matt arrives, Benji is so happy. Walks with Matt is the highlight of the little guy’s day. 5. Matt is reliable, attentive and has never, ever let us down. I know I can count on Matt no matter what the weather will be. He walked him twice because of flooding just so Benji had a longer walk. 6. Matt is not only a dog walker, he trains him during their walks and has taught us a few tricks regarding training as Benji is a bit high energy. Matt calls Benji a Velcro dog because he has separation anxiety from his Dad, but I can tell Benji would go with Matt in a heartbeat. 7. Another positive trait about Matt is he has a great sense of humor. We think Benji is funny and smart as a whip. Matt picked that up immediately. 8. Matt is one of the kindest and most calm humans I have ever met. You will be more than satisfied to have Matt walk and take care of your dog. 9. I would him the highest recommendation you cannot ever go wrong hiring Matt to walk your dog.
