About Mattea

I'm patient, adaptable and dynamic. I enjoy working with kids because I love making a positive impact and being a supportive role model as they grow and learn. I'm looking for a job with a clear structure, a comfortable environment, and a family I can grow with. Though I've never consistently babysat before, I've worked with kids since I was 13 helping in a church daycare and summer program. One core memory for me is caring for a toddler who just wanted to be held- I'd wake up with a sore hip but loved every minute of it. I enjoy relaxing with my cats and rewatching favorite movies and shows. One thing you should know about me is while I've more recently babysat for a friend a few times, I don't have much consistent experience with annoying or babysitting. I was a Girl Scout for a long time, I learned CPR, first aid, and leadership. My strengths include emotional intelligence, strong communication (especially reading non-verbal cues), creativity and willingness to learn.
