About Mathurine

I am delighted to write a reference for Mathurine J. Mathurine has been a special part of our lives since 2003, when she was hired to be my older daughter's full time nanny. She continued to work for me through 2014 in a variety of ways - full-time, part-time, as part of a nanny-share, and as an evening babysitter. No matter how our circumstances changed, I made sure to keep her in my daughters' lives in some way because she was such a positive presence in their lives. Further, many close family and friends, upon seeing how much my daughters loved Mathurine and how wonderful she was with them, also hired her. She was the nanny for my niece, my close friend's son (who had life-threatening allergies and only trusted Mathurine to care for him), and my other close friend's sons, among others. Everyone witnessed how special she was and jumped to hire her as soon as she became available. Mathurine always conducts herself professionally and is exceedingly responsible. She is always punctual. She has a remarkable memory and could be trusted to carry out perfectly any set of complicated instructions. She would regularly take the initiative to research, plan and carry out new experiences for my children. Above all, Mathurine is a caring, honest and kind person. She is dependable and trustworthy, and she takes pride in her work. She is, without exaggeration, the most ethical person I know. My children love her and were loved by her. Even now, at 13 and 9 years old, they yell with joy when she comes to visit or calls on the phone. I highly, highly recommend Mathurine for a nanny position, and I would gladly respond to questions by phone.
