About Mateo

My passion for senior care is deeply personal. I spent meaningful years caring for my ailing grandfather, who played a major role in raising me. In that time, I supported him with daily medication reminders, transportation, errands, and companionship often simply spending time together and making sure he felt seen, heard, and cared for. That experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of dignity in aging. Even after his passing, I carry a piece of him with me in my work. When I support older adults today, I see reflections of him in the elders around me, which drives me to treat every individual with the same respect, compassion, and attentiveness I gave to my grandfather.
