About Mason

Hi! My name is Mason, and I am a senior at Cal State LA studying Mechanical Engineering. I have three years of tutoring experience through Care. com, primarily working with high school students in math. My tutoring approach is super flexible to your needs. I can help with catching up in a class, preparing for an upcoming exam, or completing homework. In addition to tutoring, I have experience working with children as a counselor at Las Posas Children's Center, where I also acted as a tutor in the mornings at an elementary level. As a mechanical engineering student, I use math regularly in my own coursework and have a strong background in problem-solving. You may reach out to me with any questions. I can do in home or in public tutoring whichever is more comfortable, LA has some great study cafes I can vouch for. Also, as a former D1 track and field runner, if your child is doing cross country or track and needs someome to run with, I would love to help.
