My love for animals started young, I was the grandchild of a veterinarian (he has since retired) and he fostered my love of science and pets. Since then I have had dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and even a hedgehog under my care! I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for several years throughout college. Though I no longer work there it was truly one of my favorite jobs.
