About Mary

I have provided in home care for a few seniors in past years. I have experience in nurses'aide work in hospitals, including on a Geriatric ward for over a year. From 2009 to 2012, I provided caregiving and companionship for my 90 years + mother, with meal preparation, bathing and dressing assistance, medication reminders, medical appointments, grocery shopping and errands, taking her for walks and drives, and sharing conversations and laughs. I find human interactions and relationships to be the most valuable part of life, and seniors offer an amazing perspective, opinions and values that I truly enjoy and learn from. I'm compassionate and love to help others. My entire career has been in human services, primarily working with children and families. I like being able to make a positive contribution to another's day and life.
