I am a mother of 8 children and grandmother of 9; in the home and at work I am organized, intentional, creative, friendly, and calm natured. I have 10+ years experience working as a substitute paraprofessional or part-time aide in developmental classrooms. Since August 2021 I have been substituting as a teacher. I have provided assistance to special education students with a variety of disabilities including learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and communication disorders. I have worked directly with students to accommodate special academic needs such as practice reading aloud, helped students understand and complete their assignments, and monitor and encourage use of aiding equipment. NCPI Certified July 2019 Some of my hobbies are working out at the gym, swimming, gardening and baking.
