About Mary

I'd describe my personality as calm in stressful situations. Outgoing and talkative when appreciated. I specialize in Hospice care and dementia care. I prefer over-night shifts and respite work. My last Hospice job was 24/7 and my client passed on Mother's Day. I will be available for shifts starting June 3rd. I am a good cook and would consider afternoon or evening shifts as cook / companion, I became a caregiver when my late husband had a stroke in 2000. He was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2003. He broke his hip in 2007 and spent a year in the VA. He spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair or bed. He died in 2016 Since then I have continued to work as a professional caregiver. I've worked for agencies and private clients. In my free time I enjoy crafting and playing cards with friends.
