About Mary

I am a mother of 3 children, all of whom are in college now. My husband and I just moved to Roanoke from Staunton, Virginia 4 months ago, where we had lived for 15 years. My last job was as a nanny for a family with 2 children, and I stayed with them for 5 years, until they started Montessori school. For many years I was primarily a stay-at-home parent, but I also have taught swimming at the Y (5 years), taught middle and high school, served as a tutor, taught as an adjunct teacher at the college level, been a Montessori assistant, taught preschool in a church daycare and other centers, and have been an after school teacher in an elementary school, among other things! I am mature, responsible, loving, creative, fun, and experienced with children of all ages and stages!
