At one time, I thought I would like to work as an activities director in a retirement home, and focused on geriatrics while completing my four year degree. However, life took me down a road of marriage, and four biological and two adopted children, which I am thankful for. Our oldest daughter was born severely handicapped and needed much medical care through her life. She passed away last year at the age of 20. My experience pertaining directly to senior care includes working as a nurse's aide in a nursing home, and caring for my 98-year-old grandmother. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
