Hi, I'm Mary. I provide experienced care for children and young adults with developmental and complex medical needs -- including autism, Down syndrome, G-tube feeding and care, dialysis support, medication routines, and mobility assistance. My experience is based in my years as the primary sibling-caretaker for my younger brother, also working with other families in his school program. I bring unique insight most caregivers learn secondhand: special needs care is family care. I value meeting families where they are, and adapting to different needs/situations without being hand-held. I strive to provide support without judgment, whatever that looks like. I'm also glad to coordinate with therapists, teachers, and providers, support IEP and 504 goals at home, and step into an advocacy role when families want backup.
