About Mary

I'd describe my personality as friendly, calming, and warm. I like working with kids because it's rewarding to see children learn and grow. It's fun and no two days are the same. I'm looking for a job that allows me to cater to the needs of the family and allows me to do fun activities with the children. I started working with kids when I was a young teen babysitting. I was a nanny to a few families after college. I went on to volunteer in church day care. I raised four children who are in their teens and twenties. In my spare time, I like to take exercise classes, walk my dogs, cook, hang out with my husband and watch my kids' sports! One thing you should know about me is that I want the best for your children. Their safety, mentally, physically and emotionally is of the utmost importance while in my care. My skills include reading, fixing meals, helping with bedtime, encouraging creative play opportunities. I want my work to be a continuation of the family's routines.
