About Mary
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a certified 7-12 math teacher with 27 years experience. I have taught math at all levels and am comfortable working with all ages of children in other subjects as I have worked at Sylvan Learning Center and have run my own tutoring business for a total of 5 years. I love working with children who learn in different ways and am not afraid of those with special needs, including the gifted. I have excellent classroom management skills. I would still be in the classroom if not for some health issues. I am open to a single family or a pod virtual learning situation. It is a challenge to me to find what will finally make that light bulb go off for my students. I truly believe that all children can learn if given the right instruction and a positive learning environment. My rates vary based upon age of student and difficulty of subject matter. I look forward to working with you to make learning fun and exciting!
